Born with a passion for geography, history, and travel, Dick's work allowed him to see the world and satisfy his always adventurous spirit. He was sharp, fair, caring and universally respected by all who worked with him. He attended Stanford University where he received his BA in Political Science and later in his career earned his MBA at the University of Chicago.ĭick had a very successful 40 year career in the air cargo industry, working for United Airlines, Flying Tigers, and American Airlines. Dick and Cora Lee became High School sweethearts and have been married for 59 years. He grew up on an avocado and citrus ranch in Southern California and met his future wife, Cora Lee Rail, when he spotted her in the church choir at the young age of 13. Dick was born in Whittier, California, to his parents, Herman and Agnes Brannon. Richard Macy "Dick" Brannon of Little Rock, who arrived in this world on September 19, 1939, departed to his final destination on after a life well-lived.
